Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) is a flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at promoting the survival, protection, and education of the girl child. Launched on 22nd January 2015 by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the campaign tackles declining child sex ratios and empowers girls through education while challenging societal biases to ensure their equal participation in all aspects of life.
