Digitisation of land records and confirming identity of owners by linking Aadhar and registration of nominations for immovable properties is an immediate necessity. However the present revenue accounting system cannot take care. This can be possible only if the Village Officer system followed by erstwhile Madras Presidency can be revived and implemented.
