The scholarship aims to provide financial assistance to poor and meritorious students from minority communities to enable them to pursue professional and technical courses. The scholarship would be awarded to students for studies in India in Government or private institutions where it will cover technical and professional courses at undergraduate and post-graduate level.
There are other Scholarships for Minorities as well:
Scholarship will be awarded to students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual parental income does not exceed Rs 2 lakh.

Scholarship will be provided for the entire academic year/course where the amount disbursed stands at Rs 20,000/- per annum subject to actuals both for Hostellers and Day scholars . Similarly, maintenance allowance comprising of Rs. 10,000/- for Hostellers and Rs. 5000 for day scholars will be provided for the academic year.
