INTRODUCTION

The scholarship was launched in 2006 and is targeted towards financially equipping meritorious students from minority communities. The objective of the scheme is to provide them with better opportunities for higher education, increase their rate of attainment in higher education and enhance their employability. Eligibility

Scholarships will be awarded to students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and whose annual parental income does not exceed Rs 2 lakh. Click here to Check Your Eligibility.

Benefits

Financial assistance for admission and course/tution fee and maintenance allowance would be provided that will also aim to cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes and centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI & XII including Polytechnics and other courses.To know more about the benefits, you can download the PDF document here

Mode of Application

The scheme is implemented through the National Scholarship Portal. One can apply for the scholarship on the National Scholarship Portal on the link and then by clicking on the link of Ministry of Minority Affairs.
