The scheme is designed to enhance the academic capability of the SC students by providing them remedial and coaching sessions in classes IX to XII with a view to prepare students for competitive examinations for seeking entry into professional courses like engineering and medical discipline.

The scheme could be availed by those whose parental/annual income from all sources does not exceed Rs 3 lakh per annum. Maximum 2050 fresh students will be covered under the scheme annually.
