HI,I have few suggestions for Indian Postal Services. Last week i visited to Post office for some personal work and realized that officers and workers are very talented but we need to Strength the postal services with IT infrastructure. 1) We should have email ID for each Postal code for communication, The Peoples who are under that postal code should register their details under the that postal code on web page3) Whenever Peoples move then then should update their address on portal.
Internet issues are major impediments in post offices, even in Post offices in major cities like Chennai. Customers are asked to come back over and over to avail services like Aadhar card. Sify is the internet service provider for Chennai post office at Saligramam, Chennai and hardly the staff is getting internet connection. Even Anna Salai Head post office is facing internet connectivity issue. If the concerned authorities/Director takes the remedial action, it will be of great help. Thanks!
