To address Delay in Judicial system, Is it possible to make clearing the pending cases as a project , in a similar way you initiated drive for Account Opening. Can we have a drive like, Justice for all 2020 or something like this, to have a target to reduce pending cases by e.g. 70 percent
Every Police Station should have the CCTV in place. They harass MEN esp in 498a/DV cases to greater extent by accepting the ransom money given by wife & their families. The action of police shud be recorded. They serve as threat to country as they don’t abide by LAW. These kinda police officers list shud be made and share to public. Surprisingly WOMEN police officers are more arrogant & cruel in nature as they take advantage of their gender during these scenes. Have gender neutral laws.
1) There is no explicit time limit for filling chargesheet in courts by Police that lead to delay in Justice, Dilution of evidence, manier times curroption too.
2) No time limit for investigation of FIR lodged. If Police need extra time need to take permission from concern court with reasons why there is delay in investigation

Mediation should be abolished in criminal cases and all cases should have a one year time period to be completed and Judge should made liable for delay in process.

Main reason for the huge backlog of cases is because of filing of millions of fake cases because of multiple laws that smell clearly of Double Jeopardy. Unlike that global standard, India has almost 7-8 laws guiding the Matrimonial offences itself. The moment India can make a single law related to Matrimonial conditions (either Violence, either Divorce, either Custody, either Maintenance) in a SINGLE CIVIL law, straightaway, a backlog of Matrimonial cases itself will be reduced to 1/7th.
In case of any Dowry case, the marriage should be dissolved by default and the district Dowry Prohibition officer should be fined or jailed instead. Thus the spurt of Dowry cases (98% false) would be immediately stopped as well. Saving courts from over loading of almost 2 lakh false dowry cases a year will definitely reduce the burden on the courts & reduce pendency.
The Indian Judicial is not clogged by the No of Cases, Not speedy disposal is the right solution:
1. The False filers to be strict punished for abuse of law, reduces the court cases by 50% .
2. The FIR to be filed after investigation only by police, if found false during trail police action to be taken against them.
3. Payment & Fees to the lawyers to be regulated, which will reduce the burden and lawyers will fight for the case not for client’s money.
4. Rape cases not be mechanically filed.

Investigating officers should be prosecuted for wrong and false and irresponsible charge sheet s as ordered by SC
