Indian health scenario is ba dbecause most PHCs and CHCs do not provide adeqaute care. The solution to this lie in increasing facilities at basic level.Each Medical College in my opinion must run a peripheral centre with adequate facilities where basic faiclities like MCH care and preventive care is done. You can make visit to KMC Manipal where they run a centre at Karkala about 30 kmc from manin centre Just ask other medical colleges also to emulate thsi model
