The word Tax has a negative connotation. When we say, we are taxed, it is equivalent to saying -we are punished. This is the primary reason, why many people feel paying tax is a burden. Instead, if we can have a positive word, something like -Contribution to Nation Building, more people will take pride in this. How many times have we noticed that people take pride in giving to charity or being a volunteer . This requires an overhaul in terminology and positioning in Citizens mind.
