Why can not we make low cost fighter jets, we have the design of sukhoi , we have all the parts required to make an aircraft , they can be 3.5-4 generation parts , but they do work. We can make body of sukhoi like we make of Tejas of composite material, fit in all the parts and fly it , it will be a 4th gen jet and made in India
