The scholarship renders necessary financial assistance to Indian students with at least 40% disabilities for pursuing post-matric/post-secondary technical and professional courses including PhD and M.Phil from recognised institutions. This will enable them to prepare themselves to earn their livelihood and have access to equal opportunities.

-Students with 40% or more disabilities certified as per definition under PwD act of 1995.
-Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical or professional course on the basis of a competitive examination and whose annual family income does not exceed Rs 3 lakh from all sources are eligible.

Financial assistance will be given to pursue degree and/or post graduate level technical and professional courses from a recognized institution. Maintenance, book/stationary allowance and grant for purchase of assistive devices will be credited to the student’s account.
